Stronger Torsion Springs: Reduced pull force and less noise
The OAK SH Brake Lever Blade uses a stronger preload spring that securely preloads the lever in its initial position. This ensures that the lever remains in its defined position in the event of a hard landing or vibrations and that you never grab into a void. The springs reduce the initial finger force required to actuate the brake. Due to the reduced play and the stronger spring, the OAK SH Brake Lever Blade returns to the starting position more damped and therefore slightly slower. This has no negative effect on your braking points, as the spring is completely relaxed when the lever is released. It only applies its force later.

Funktionalität an Shimano XTR 9120 nach Neulieferung der Buchsen

Ich habe nach meiner Kritik an dem Produkt und meinem Rückgabewunsch der Bremsgriffe wegen der Schwergängigkeit an der Shimano XTR 9120 Bremse in Absprache mit OAK Austauschbuchsen zum Testen erhalten. Die Buchsen funktionieren für mich jetzt einwandfrei, die Bremse ist leichtgängig und die Griffe gefallen mir nach wie vor optisch und funktionell sehr gut. Mein besonderer Dank geht an Robert für die angebotene Problemlösung.

Great improvement at all levels

I went for a ride on Saturday and enjoyed the new levers.

First, the braking power has been increased due to the new ratio coming from the levers plus the T shaped part that now pushes the piston

Next, this increased power is easier to dose since you do not have to apply more pressure on the lever. Less effort is more controllable.

This allows you to avoid blocking the wheels because now you decide how much in an easier way.

For me, coming from motorcycles, pushing the front brake hard and keeping it in control is important.

Also a great and improved look.

Despite using a goniometer to match the former position of the old XT levers, I will have to tilt the Oaks a bit down, perhaps to accommodate the new shape.

Bagues trop épaisses

Superbes leviers...mais les bagues prévues pour les saint sont trop épaisses et le levier ne revient pas a sa position initiale .
Dommage qu a ce prix là il y ait un défaut de construction .
Ce serait sympa de rectifier ce défaut et d envoyer des bagues adaptées

Saint M820

Das Problem was Geordie beschreibt kann ich mit der Saint M820 bestätigen.
Die mitgelieferten Buchsen sind auch bei mir ebenfalls zu eng so dass der Hebel zu keiner Zeit es schafft in seine Ausgangsposition zu gelangen.
Musste auch die Standard Buchsen wieder einbauen.
Im Vergleich zum Root Lever für Magura der mich absolut begeistert, macht es der SH für Shimano leider grade zu dem hohen Preis nicht so. Verarbeitung/ Qualität der Hebel sind natürlich auf einem Top Niveau. (außer die Buchsen)

Super Hebel- Tolle Qualität und Optik

Wunderschöne gearbeiteter Hebel. Passt perfekt, besser als das Orginal. Ist einfach einzubauen und fühlt sich beim Bemsen toll an. Qualität ist herrausragend. Kann ich nur empfehlen.!
