Consistancy

In the Lab:

In the lab we performed 92 full-power stops in 16 minutes, with no time to cool down. The orange line shows the brake disc heating up from 44 °C to over 300 °C; the red line shows the braking force the pad delivers on every single stop. It stays virtually flat: 91 out of 92 stops fall within ±10 % – the last stop decelerates just like the first.

16 minutes full load

In the Lab:

This is the complete test run in real time: on each of the 113 stops the speed drops (blue) and the brake pressure rises (green), while the disc temperature (red) climbs to around 300 °C and stays there. The pad therefore works at red-hot temperatures for 16 minutes straight – a load equivalent to a long, steep descent with no recovery.
The conclusion: The Hyperstop Pads stays constant and predictable even in the most challenging riding conditions.
