Using a topological optimisation process, the Bashguard has been designed so that all forces are perfectly distributed across both screw points, no matter how you land. A removal tool and replacement screws are included to complete the package.

The bolts of our bashguard are designed to break in the event of a heavy impact before any damage can occur to the frame’s ISCG-05 threads. The steel bolts can withstand slightly more force, but for carbon frames, we recommend using only the aluminum bolts.

This model from OAK Components is as minimalist as almost any other I know, yet it still prevents bent chainrings and broken chains.

Bester Bashguard am Markt

Für mich der beste Bashguard am Markt. Minimalistisch, aufs wesentliche reduziert aber trotzdem verdammt stabil. Dazu schaut er noch richtig gut aus.
Für mich das Highlight: die hohlen Befestigungsschrauben. Wenn der Schlag doch mal so hart ist, dass der Bashguard nachgeben muss, brechen nicht etwa die Gewinde aus dem Rahmen aus, sondern die Schrauben werden abgeschert. Durch die Hohlbohrung lassen sich die Schraubenreste mit einem handelsüblichen Ausdreher herausdrehen. Wirklich top!
